John Crocock

President

John, a New Westminster resident, is a business owner who has been involved in the computer industry for over 30 years mostly as President of CompuVision Technologies Inc. John is also President of (WCCIA) Western Canadian Computer Industry Association. As President of the BC Action Party, John brings a wealth of experience at every level of Canadian politics. He avidly shares a vision of a strong and prosperous British Columbia without the crushing burden of debt and the current unacceptable levels of unemployment.

Mike Pratas

Vice President

Manuel ("Mike") Pratas was born in Aveiro, Portugal.  He immigrated to southern Ontario as a youth and became a Canadian Citizen in 1961. After serving in the Armed Forces as a paratrooper, he completed his education in Ontario, earning a diploma in Construction Management from George Brown College in Toronto and a certificate in Home Inspection from Mohawk College in Hamilton, Ontario. Manuel was elected to the city council of Hamilton, Ontario and served for three years before moving to British Columbia. Manuel moved to British Columbia in 1990 where he met his wife Melissa and settled in Port Coquitlam.  The family has been residing in Maple Ridge for the past 15 years and their son Anacleto just graduated from Maple Ridge Senior Secondary.

James Ram

Secretary

Born in the Fiji Islands, James migrated to Canada in 1970 and has a technology based educational background. He is currently working in the construction industry as a consultant for a specialized steel floor system. James is a team player and enjoys working with other people, and donates his time generously to charitable venturea. He sits on the committee for the Vancouver Sun Run and has been managing volunteers for many other sporting events in the lower mainland since 1994. He is a dedicated and highly motivated individual and has great leadership skills.

Errol Sherley

Treasurer

A lifelong of resident of Delta. A driven Individual with a vision of a prosperous and stable province. Attended Vancouver Film School for New Media and has helped manage several companies over the last ten years. A lover of the environment and renewable power solutions to studying new technologies

Derek Hansen

Director

Derek Hansen was born in New Westminster and resides in Port Coquitlam. He attended British Columbia Institute of technology starting fall of 2008. Currently Derek enjoys working at Canadian National Railway Company where he is employed as a Conductor and Locomotive engineer. He has spent last several years traveling around Canada and British Columbia both for business and pleasure. His hobbies include wood working and remote control boats, planes and cars.

Betty Newton

Director

Betty was a resident of Victoria until moving to the Mainland in June 2010. With no family left in Victoria she made the move to New Westminster to be closer to her family. She was involved as a volunteer in Federal politics for some years while in Victoria. Her work background was in secretarial, accounting and administrative office settings, as well as a few years as a certified Travel Consultant prior to retirement. Her volunteer work included Victoria Hospice, a Seniors Centre and Curling and Golf Clubs where she was a member.
